Daleville...Roberta Jean Hodson Vermillion, 82, resident of Daleville, passed away Sunday morning at her residence.She was born in Daleville, February 18, 1929, the daughter of Merrill and Viola McKinsey Huffman.She attended Daleville High School and drove a school bus for Daleville for many years.She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, DOLLS chapter, Daleville Lioness Club and the Moose.Survivors include 3 children: Butch Hodson (Carol) of Daleville, Ginger Hodson of Phoenix, AZ, and Nela Jean (Mike) Leatherman of Anderson, 2 step children: Penny Warner (Eddie) and Virgina Chapman of Anderson, 2 grandchildren: Laura Vise (Jeff) of Yorktown and Lisa Francum of Chesterfield, 1 step grandaughter 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and caregiver: Sherry Sigmon.She was preceded in death by her parents, and two husbands: Levi Hodson and Disco Vermillion, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Sstreet, Daleville with Rev.
