Daleville...Robert Gene Taylor, 78, resident of Daleville, passed away early January 30, 2007 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN after an extended illness.He was born in Muncie, IN June 1, 1928, the son of William E. and Veva (Modlin) Taylor.He was a 1946 graduate of Anderson High School and Ball State University, receiving a BA in 1950.He taught Industrial Arts and Math at Fortville High School for four years and was also the senior class sponsor.He began Robert G. Taylor, Inc. in 1954 and worked in construction for 55 years.He was a member of the Indiana Builders Association and the Anderson Builders Association.He was a member of the Daleville Christian Church and the Elks of Anderson.He loved the Daleville community and was active in many of the community events. He loved family activities, Travelling with family, dancing with wife, daughters and granddaughters and watersports.He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Imogene (Yust) of Daleville, daughters: Cathy Goins of Elwood, Karen Ashton (Daniel) of Daleville, Cindy Costerison (Steven) of Pendleton and Mary Harris (Phillip) of Pendleton, grandchildren: Robert (Tina) Goins of Pendleton, Michael (Tammy) Goins of Noblesville, Benjamin (Joani) Goins of Greenfield, Betsy (Scott) Shepherd of Daleville, Daniel (Emily) Ashton of Daleville, Timothy (Hannah) Ashton of Daleville, Clark (Erin) Costerison, Craig Costerison, Anthony Costerison, Melissa Costerison, and David Costerison of Pendleton, Christopher and Jennifer Martin of Pendleton, Sarah Harris of Greenfield and Lindsey Harris of Pendleton, 1 brother: Ronald (Chris) Taylor of Spokane, WA, great grandchildren: Timothy Shepherd, Alan Shepherd, Michael Shepherd of Daleville, Cade Costerison and Chloe Goins of Pendleton, Kate Goins of Noblesville, Damien Downey of Pendleton and Olivia Johns of Greenfield, additional family members: Francine Silva of Brazil, SA, Tais Melges of Brazil, SA, Sung Hyo Park of South Korea, Mariel Bello of Mexico, Mica Inoue of Brazil, SA, Nallely Bello of Mexico and Natalia Inoue of Brazil, SA.He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Donald Taylor and William Taylor.Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the Daleville Christian Church with Rev.
