Daleville...Robert Eugene Sheward, 87, Daleville, passed away March 26, 2008 at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Muncie, September 21, 1920, the son of Aubrey Clay and Eva Marie Bunner Sheward.He was a 1940 graduate of Muncie Central High School and a US Navy veteran of WW 2.He retired in 1982 from Colonial Bakery in Muncie after 22 years.He was a member of the American Legion of Chesterfield, D. A. V., and was a Boy Scout Leader. He had been a Life Scout in his childhood.He attended the Daleville United Methodist Church.Besides his parents he had been preceded in death by his first wife: Julia Ann Worl in 1982, brother: Charles Lindbergh Sheward and a sister: Ruth Ann Morgan.Survivors include his wife of 15 years: Davina (Price) Sheward of Daleville, six children: David E. (Juanita) Sheward of New Castle, Tim (Sheila) Sheward of Yorktown, Dan (Carlene) Sheward of Anderson, Jeremiah (Tiffany) Sheward, Lena Ann and Katharine Sheward all of Daleville, 7 grandchildren: Gregory (Autumn) Sheward of Lewisville, Maria (Bobby) Sells of New Castle, IN, Kristina (Carl) Allender of Lapel, Robert Sheward of Anderson, and Bradley (Rhonda) Sheward of Lexington, KY and Melissa (Shawn) Justice of Matthews, IN, and 1st Sgt Daniel (Kelli) Sheward of Texas, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Judy Fuller directing.Burial will follow at Mt.
