Middletown...Robert Lee Ross, 77, resident of Middletown, died late Tuesday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness.He was born in Indianapolis, October 18, 1926, the son of Will ""Bill"" and Mildred Thompson Ross.He was a 1947 graduate of Fortville High School and retired in 1980 from Delco Remy after 30 years of service.He was a member of the UAW #662, the Masonic Lodge of Fortville, the Murat Shrine and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis.Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Wanda (Singleton) of Middletown, 1 son: Jerry (Norma) Ross of Middletown, 1 sister: Betty (Joe)Postrack of Fortville and 1 brother: Frank Ross of Maxwell, 2 grandchildren: Bobbi Lynn (Steve) Snyder of Frankton and Michelle Ross of Blountsville, 4 great grandchildren: Breanna and Brock Snyder of Frankton and Daleanna and Cody Ross of Blountsville, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sons: Dale Ross, 1 sister: Mary Giger and 2 brothers: Carl Ross and Bill Ross.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev.
