Middletown...Robert Earl Rinker, 84, resident of Madison County, passed away Sunday morning June 14, 2015 at Community Hospital in Andereon.He was born in Alexandria, July 30, 1930, the son of John and Nellie Rinker.He was a graduate of Alexandria High School and retired from Delco Remy General Motors after 28 years.He was a US Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a member of the UAW 662, loved the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed fishing.Survivors are two children: David Rinker (Terri) of Noblesville and Judith Ann Hoskins of Anderson, 3 grandchildren: Jennifer West Ground of Pendleton, Erin McIlhenny (James) of Virginia Beach, VA, and John Moran of Anderson, 3 great grandchildren: Dalton Ground, Jonathan Moran and James McIlhenny, special niece: Leann McKissack.He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann (Gudgel), his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and a son: Paul Rinker.A Graveside Celebration will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.Online guestbook at:
