Daleville...Robert Charles Powell, 41, resident of Daleville, died Friday at ManorCare Nursing Facility in Anderson after an extended illness.He was born January 24, 1962 the son of Robert L. and Marcie Robertson Powell.He had worked for over twenty years at Pay-Less Supermarkets and currently had worked at Phar Moor in Anderson.He was a 1981 graduate of Daleville High School and a member of the Daleville Lions Club.Survivors include 2 sons: Robert A. of Anderson and Nick L. Powell of Daleville, 1 daughter: Bryce Ann Powell of Daleville, Special Nieces: Toni Shellabarger of Daleville, 1 sister: LeAnne Stanley of Pendleton and 1 brother: Eddie Lee Powell of Moore, OK, several nieces and nephews as well as special friends: Pinky Leslie Peabody of North Vernon, Dee Johns of Anderson and George Finch of Daleville.Graveside services will be held Monday at Saunders Cemetery at 1:00 PM.Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville from noon until the services on Monday.Memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
