Middletown...Robert David "Bobby" Mundell, 51, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday evening at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson .after an extended illness.
He was born in Anderson, July 3, 1968, the son of Robert D. Mundell and Phyllis Jeanne Burr. He was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and was a Fireman for the Middletown Fall Creek Fire Department for many years. He also served on the Middletown EMS. He attended the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene and had worked for many years with Chandler Excavating. He also worked for General Motors, the Town of Middletown and Progress Rail.
Survivors are his wife Kelly of Middletown, children: B.J. Mundell of Middletown and Heather Mundell (Chris Dunn) of Middletown, stepchildren: Kolby, Kassidy and Keegan Brown of Middletown and Kelsey Putnam of Middletown, grandchildren: Robbie Mundell, Rosie and Jon Dunn, future step grandchild, Sawyer Parmley, 2 sisters: Kim Burr of Fishers and Robin Krathwohl (Ron) of Middletown, special friends; Christy Brown and Terry High and children from Middletown.
A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday February 28, 2020 at 4:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North 5th, Middletown with Pastors Danny Barrett and Marty Ballard officiating.
Friends may gather one hour before the services.
