Middletown....Robert Nelson Lowry, 87, resident of Middletown, passed away Tuesday morning at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.He was born in Walton, IN, January 11, 1924, the son of Clyde Roland and Harriett A. Williams Lowry.He worked as a mechanic at several service stations for many years.He has lived in the Middletown area for over 40 years.Survivors include 3 children: David L. (Karen) Lowry of Middletown, William B. Lowry of Middletown and Donna M. Jones of Sulphur Springs, the mother of his children: Mona Lowry of Middletown, 1 sister: Bonnie Health of Anderson and 1 brother: Kenneth Lowry of Alexandria, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons: Lonnie and Jerry Lowry.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Karen lowry officiating.Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the time of the services.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
