Middletown...Robert S. King, Jr., 77, resident of Middletown, passed away February 4, 2021 at Providence Healthcare in Anderson. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, November 2, 1943, the son of Robert S.King, Sr. and Marjorie Hope Patterson Sterling.
He attended Cowan Schools and retired from St. Johns Hospital as an electrician after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the 6th Street Christian Church of Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Ann Prichett King of Middletown, children, Robin King of Sellersburg, Indiana, Anthony King (Claudia) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Michael King (Stacy) of Sellersburg, Indiana, 1 brother, Michael Sterling (Janet) of Kokomo, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Miller Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home,118 South 5th, Middletown on Tuesday from 11:00 pm until the time to leave for the graveside. Covid restrictions will be in place..
