Robert Alden Holmes

Deputy, IN...Robert Alden Holmes, 84, resident of Deputy, Indiana, passed away February 22, 2007 at veteran Hospital in Louisville, Ky after an extended illness.He was born in Middletown, June 5, 1922, the son of Walter G. Holmes and Gertrude Woodmore.He was employed at Woodsley's Barber Shop in Cincinnati, Ohio.He was a graduate of Middletown High School and a WW 2 veteran of the US Army Air Corps.He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Wilda June (Ingram) of Deputy, Special friends and family: Ruth Denney of Deputy and Art Ross of Indianapolis, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM with full military honors at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 to 12:30 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
