Shirley...Robert E. Lee Hensley, 64, resident of Shirley, passed away Friday at Community Hospital in Anderson unexpectedly.He was born in Smith Kentucky on May 23, 1942, the son of Enos and Pauline Cavins Hensley.He worked as a supervisor for Burns Construction for 37 years and loved to fish, spend time at the lake house with his grandchildren and family.He loved working in his garage and in his garden. He loved to outfish his sister-in-law Barb and fishing buddy Fred.He donated vegetables to the Middletown Food PantrySurvivors include his wife of 46 years: Nada (Middleton) of Shirley, children: Robert L. Hensley, Jr. of Shirley and Sherri Humes of Middletown, Grandchildren: Rock, Aramyss, Amanda, Samantha, Alyssa Hensley and Matthew, Magen and Amanda Humes, 3 great grandchildren: destiny, Kylie, and TJ, Brothers and sisters: Noah and Teresa (Medlock) Hensley of Mechanicsburg, Mont and Marilyn Hensley of Middletown, Lige and melanie (Learned) of Middletown, Gladys and Fred Stewart of Mechanicsburg, Myrtle and Sonny Campbell of Cincinnati, Jean and Luke McArther of Markleville and Sue and Roger Smith of Attica, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-9 PM.Memorials may be made to the Middletown Food Pantry.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
