Middletown...Robert Calvin Hanna, 83, resident of Middletown, passed away Wednesday morning at his residence.He was born in Middletown, October 20, 1923, the son of John Clavin and Gladie A. Hunt Calvin Hanna.He was a US Army Veteran of WW 2 and worked for 20 years at Heckaman Buick in Anderson before beginning Hanna Auto Body in Middletown which he owned and operated for 39 years.Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by three brothers: Lee, Mark, and Norman and 1 sister: Martha Kendall.He is survived by his wife: Joan of Middletown, son: Gary (Jan) Hanna of Middletown, daughters: Connie (Jim) Haynes of Middletown, Karen Matthews of Kentucky and Sharen (Bill) Beard of French Lick, step children: Greg (Marcia) Gilman of Alexandria, Nick (Cindy) Gilman of Alexandria, Melody (Tim) Phi of Cicero and Brett (Starr) Gilman of Alexandria, 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
