Robert "Bob" Eugene Fox, Jr.

Robert "Bob" Eugene Fox, Jr., 79, of Middletown passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 30, 1945 to the late Robert Eugene, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Titus) Fox.

Bob was a 1963 graduate of Fairmount High School. He worked a few years at Olingers Distribution then GM for 42 years. Bob served 7 years in the National Guard. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed coaching his wife and son with their horses barrel racing. He roped and enjoyed horses throughout his life. Bob loved camping with his beloved grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. Bob enjoyed playing guitar and water skiing, including trick skiing. He was told he was a very patient man because he put up with his dear wife, Cindy for 46 years. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cynthia Fox (Riley); daughter, Shea (Greg) Buck; son, Brandon (Brittany Lyons) Fox; grandchildren, Elijah, Preston and Quinn Fox.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Allen Fox.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Miller Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion in Middletown following the burial. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown.
