Muncie.....Robert James Butcher,64, resident of Muncie, passed away January 24, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after a short illness.He was born in San Diego California, August 7, 1952, the son of Andrew and Patsy Butcher.He had worked for many years at Draper Shapes in Spiceland. He serviced in the US Marine Corps from 1971-1975.Robert is survived by his wife: Linda Reum Butcher of Muncie, sons: Shane Reum (Carla) and grandson: Nathan. Also three sisters: Patty Douglas, Betty Sternaman and Dora Blauser, brothers and sister in laws: Andrew Butcher and Daryl Rollins, brothers; David Reum, Tom (Fran) Nichols, Jane (John) Heaton and Joella Francis.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Richard.A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville.Friends may call on Sunday from 1-3 PM.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Robert with family and friends.
