Springport...Robert Lee Bunner, 90, resident of Springport, died February 18, 2004 at Americare Nursing Home in New Castle following at extended illness.He was born July 1, 1913 in Luray, IN, the son of the late Robert and Flossie Reger Bunner.He was a lifelong farmer and retired in 1990 and was a member of the Springport Christian Church.He is survived by his wife of 14 years: Eunice (Martin) Bunner of Springport, 2 sons: Greg (Rebecca) Bunner of Bennington, IN and Melvin (Martha) Bunner of Muncie, 3 step sons: Lonnie (Donna) Martin of Farmland, David (Karen) Martin of Mooreland, and Steve (Char) Martin of New Castle, 1 step daughter: Beverly (Rick) Heskett of Muncie, 5 grandchildren: Jacob, David, and Stephen Bunner and Kathy Bunner and Janice Smith, 11 step grandchildren, 1 brother: Gilbert Bunner of Springport, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years: Dorothy Marie Bunner, 1 son: Nicky Eugene, 1 sister: Margaret and 1 brother: Paul.Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. David Siebenaler and Rev.
