Robert "Bob" G. Riggs
March 4, 1956 — February 29, 2020
Muncie...Robert "Bob" G. Riggs, 63, resident of Muncie, passed away at his home after an extended illness. He was born in New Castle, Indiana, May 24, 1956, the son of Robert Lee and Norma Lorene Reddick Riggs. He was a 1974 graduate of Shenandoah High School and a member of the State Championship Marching Raider Band playing the trombone.
He worked for 17 1/2 years at General Motors and liked antique cars. He was a member of several car clubs. He enjoyed documentaries and research concerning Sasquatch and "Big Foot."
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pamela Riggs and a sister, Marilyn Sue Riggs.
Survivors include his fiance', Renae Gawith of Muncie, special family members, Jeremy and Joy DeWalt of Muncie as well as Mike and Michelle DeWalt, his beloved special grandchildren: Ashley, Robby, Racine and Madison Dewalt and Cameron Badger, his special pet, Sassy and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call one hour before the services on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County Humane Society.
