Anderson...Robert C. Ballinger, 80, resident of Anderson, passed away October 27, 2007 at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson after an extended illness.He was born in Marion,Indiana, November 1, 1926, the son of Donald H. and Margaret Camblin Ballinger.He was a 1945 graduate of Anderson High School and retired in 1988 from Reeder and Kline after 19 years in manufacturing.He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WW 2, worked at Anderson Laundry and Cleaners for many years and was a member of the US Power Squadron.He loved boating, model railroading and was able to fix anything.Survivors include his wife Betty of Anderson, 1 son: Gregory (Angela) Ballinger of Palmetto, FL, 1 grandson: Derek Ballinger of Bradenton and 1 great grandson: Austin Ballinger of Bradenton.Private services will be held through Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
