Sulphur Springs....Robert Earl Bailey, Sr., 89, resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away Friday at his home.He was born in Charlottesville, September 30, 1926, the son of Monta R. and Marie L. Kinder Bailey. He attended Cadiz High School and retired from General Motors after 25 years of service.He was a US Army Veteran of WW 2.He was a member of the UAW 662 and attended the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Emma Lou (Hedrick), 3 brothers and 1 sister.Survivors are his children: Pamela Badgley (Joseph ""Rick"") of Spiceland, Robert Bailey Jr. (Misty) of Peru, Deborah Lynn Bailey-Jonas (Ron) of Hagerstown and Ralph Bailey (Karen) of Indianapolis, 2 brothers: Harold E. Bailey (Bonnie) of Niles, MI and Kenneth I. Bailey (Eva) of Aurora, MO, 2 sisters: Dorothy of Corpus Christi, TX and Mary Katherine Hamm of Wilkinson, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Dr. Philip C.
