Rick Alan Scott
Rick passed away May 23, 2019 after a long, hard fight with Cancer. Rick was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. Rick is the son of Neal and Anita Scott. He grew up in Daleville, Indiana and graduated from Daleville High School in 1974. Rick also attended several Technology Schools and graduated from PCI. He worked for many years with New Sunshine Corporation as an IT Supervisor.
Rick is proceeded in death by his father, Neal Scott and a sister, Debbie Lindskog. Survivors are his true love Chrissy Soular, Brookville IN, his step daughter, Taylor Bray of Indianapolis, his mother, Anita Scott (Terrill Perry), Daleville, his brother, Todd Scott (Joani Scott), Yorktown, IN, a sister, Tami Ward (Robert Ward), Florida and several nieces and nephews and two great nieces.
Many years ago, Rick fell in love with Brookville Lake and a small campground area called Lake Shore Resort. Rick served on the board for many years where he shared his passion in making Lake Shore Resort a safe and inviting community for families to enjoy. Rick was always willing to help!
To honor Rick's passionate commitment to LakeShore, we feel it is appropriate to hold his celebration of life there. This informal Celebration with all family and friends, will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on June 15th at the Lake Shore Resort Club House. (15105 Lake Shore Drive, Brookville, IN 47012.
