Middletown....Richard LaMoyne Vannatter, 82, resident of Middletown, passed away July 25, 2016 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.He was born August 16, 1933 in Anderson, the son of Herrall and Margaret Muterspaugh Vannatter.He was a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of Middletown High School class of 1951.He was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church and the Middletown Lodge F & AM #271.He retired from General Motors as a draftsman and worked over 30 years as a realtor for many agencies.He has written 7 books and created two board games: Rollacolor and Bible toss-a-color.He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.Survivors include his wife: Mary (Oliver) OF Middletown, Children: Darci Hill and Scott Vannatter of Middletown, 3 grandchildren: Aaron Vannatter of Portland, OR, Dr. Aarika (Josh) White of Fishers and Adrienne (Lance) Kootz of Mooreland, 2 great grandchildren: Karlee and Kloee Koontz, 1 sister: Madonna Zirkle.A Graveside Celebration service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Miller Cemetery with Pastor Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Online Guestbook at:
