Middletown....Richard Alan Ginley,63, resident of rural Middletown, passed away Tuesday morning at his residence after a lengthy illness.He was born in Pendleton, june 30, 1946, the son of Paul and Virginia Ginley.He was a 1964 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School.He was a US Army Veteran serving from 1964-1967.He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the American Legion and the UAW 663He retired from General Motors after 39 years.He was most proud of being a father and husband.He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Debbie (Moroska) Ginley of Middletown, 1 daughter: Stacy Ginley of Cincinnati, OH, and 1 son: Nathan Ginley (Aren) of Camp Lejeune, NC and his grandson: Wyatt,and his beloved companion: ""Buddy"", Brothers and sisters: Mike of Markleville, Ralph of Anderson, Barbara (Paul) Hughes of Pendleton, Marcia (Bob) Burke of Anderson, 1 Aunt: Belle Fuller of Pendleton, father and mother-in-law: Andy and Susie Maroska of Greenfield, sisters-in-laws: Sharon Fry of Greenfield, Kim (Jack) Thornburg of Fredericksburg, VA, several nieces and nephews and wonderful friends and neighbors: Kim and David Keesling.Friends may call at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown on Thursday from 4-8 PM.Private services will be held on Friday.Memorials to Middletown EMS and the Middletown/Fall Creek Food Pantry.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
