Anderson...Richard E. Fulkrod, Sr., 74, resident of Anderson passed away December 28, 2016 at Providence Healthcare in Anderson.He was born in Henry County, November 13, 1942, the son of Jesse and Marian Fulkrod. He attended Middletown High School.He drove a school bus and retired from Container Corporation as well as working as a truck driver for Pilkington Trucking. He was a Colts and Nascar fan and collected model cars and trains. He drove sprint and midget cars at Sun Valley and Winchester Speedway.He enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of ABATE as well as the Piston Poppers and KKOA.He is survived by his children: Nikki (Bill) Oliver, Richard Jr. (Robin), Robert (Marybeth) and Kelly Jones.Grandchildren: Daniel and Kyle Oliver, Scott (Crystal), Brian (Siara Swafford), Robbie and Stephanie Fulkrod., great grandchildren: Alana and due in 2017; Brayden, Aunt Joyceann Williams and several cousins, many special friends.He was preceded in death by is parents and a granddaughter.
