Anderson...Richard Allen Clark, 54, resident of Anderson, passed away Monday afternoon at his home.He was born march 14, 1957 in Anderson, the son of Robert and Mary Allen Clark.He was a graduate of Anderson High School. He worked as a mechanic for Joe's Garage, Fred's Garage and Dossetts Garage and was a head mechanic at East Side Lanes in Anderson.He was a US Navy veteran serving on the USS Eisenhower from 1977 to 1981.He was preceded in death by his father: Robert in 1994 and step son: Chris.He is survived by his mother: Mary (Allen) Clark of Anderson, brothers: Michael Clark (Betty) of Daleville, Robert Clark of Safety Harbour, FL and Thomas Clark of Anderson, sister: Barbara (Jerry) Avant of Amarillo, TX, six nieces and nephews: Reesa (Russ) Smith, Jane Clark, Raymond Wells, Aubrey Clark, and Monty and LaDonna Clark, several aunts, uncles and cousins.He loved collecting indian artifacts and working on computers.The family wishes to thank Harry and Mary Sklebek, Dave Hepfer, Al Shuck and well as Gaynelle and Katherine of Hospice.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 4:00 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville with full military honors.Cremation will follow.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comA celebration fellowship will follow the services at East Side Lanes in Anderson.
