Richard David Brown, age 72, passed away Sunday at his home in Anderson.
He was born in Madison County, June 15, 1948, the son of Richard and Delores Brown. He lived in Henry and Madison County all of his life.
David worked a number of years at General Motors. He was also an LPN for over 40 years; he loved being a nurse. His most endearing quality was his selfless, generous heart. David never hesitated to brag on his children and grandchildren any chance that he got. His favorite activity was to gather with family for a good meal and time together. David was also known for giving everyone he loves a nickname and a "smoochie" kiss goodbye. His hobbies included collecting antiques and playing the organ.
He is survived by four sons, Pete Brown (Chrissy) of Pendleton, Jeff Brown (Darra) of Pendleton, Anthony Bright of Anderson, and Joshua Brees (Christin) of Alexandria; two daughters, Sara Stohler (Spencer) of Anderson, Casey Van Horn (Seth) of Anderson; two sisters, Pam Smith (Larry) of Chesterfield, Patty Watson (Kevin) of Chesterfield.
