Brown, 87, originally from Middletown, Anderson, passed away November 26, 2013 at Community North Heart Hospital.He was born in Marion, January 14, 1926, the son of Russell and Ovie Hawkins Brown.He retired from Container Corporation in 1988 after 40 years.He was a 1942 graduate of Middletown High School and a veteran of US Navy during WW 2.Survivors include his wife of 66 years: Delores (Hulse) of Anderson, children: David Brown and Steve Brown (Vicky) of Anderson and Pam Smith (Larry) and Patty Watson (Kevin) of Chesterfield, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 sister: Betty Johnson of Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call from 10 am until the time of the services on Friday.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com or Facebook/Ballard and Sons Fuenral Home and Cremation Services.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Richard Brown with family and friends.Services are pending at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown.
