New Castle...Ramona H. Ware, 76, resident of New Castle and longtime Sulphur Springs resident, passed away Wednesday evening at Americare Healthcare in New Castle after an extended illness.She was born July 14, 1929 in New Castle, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond and Mary Swearingen Harter.She had been self employed as a beautician for 33 years.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Sulphur Springs United Church of Christ.She had been preceded in death by her husband: Robert E. Ware in 1990.Survivors include 3 children: Joyce Bergfield of Sulphur Springs, Robin (Michael) Drake of Sulphur Springs and Rick Ware of Sulphur Springs, 2 grandchildren: Samantha Cantrell of Sulphur Springs and Carolyn Payne of Milton, IN, 3 great grandchildren: Brooklyn Payne of Milton, Carly Payne of Milton, and Braxton Cantrell of Sulphur Springs, 1 brother: William Harter of Cadiz and 1 sister: Carol Kennedy of Middletown, 5 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Mt.
