Phyllis Shelton, 72, of Middletown passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024, at St. Vincent in Anderson. She was born on February 8, 1952, in Lafayette to the late Robert and Margaret (Pearl) Leath.
She was a 1972 graduate of Anderson High School. Phyllis worked in home health care at Individual Support Services for 8 years and as a paint consultant for Pittsburg Paints for 9 years. She enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and crafting. Phyllis loved her family and her sparkling blue eyes will be missed by them all.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Nick LeMay; daughter, Katie (Randall) Drennen; grandchildren, Jaxon, Jocelyn and Jyllian LeMay; sisters, Julia (Paul Smith) Bowling, Jackie (Craig) Oakes, Dena (Dale) Borton, Tari (Mike) Worrell and Mary (Jay) Huff; brother, Robert Leath; companion, Bill Hazelbaker; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the Middletown American Legion. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home.
