Sulphur Springs...Phyllis Sanders Poor, 90, longtime resident of Sulphur Springs, IN, passed away early Saturday at South Central Indiana Hospice in Columbus.She was born in Henry County, December 14, 1915, the daughter of John F. and Margaret Mowrey Sanders.She was a 1932 graduate of Middletown High School and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1944. She also belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution.She had retired from West Central Community Schools after 20 years of service as a clerk.She is survived by her children: John Raymond (Carol) Poor of Davenport, FL and Roseanne (Charles) Boren of Flatrock, Indiana, grandchildren: R. Brian Poor (Marie) of Frankton, Laura L. Thompson (Chuck) of Middletown, Beth Ann Dickey (Ryan) of Frankton, Jessica R. Blake (Joshua) Anderson and Ryan Jones of Pendleton, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, 1 sister: Grace Sanders Cassell of Michigan and 1 brother: Paul Edward Sanders of Tennessee.She was preceded in death by her husband: H. Raymond Poor in 1973 and 1 sister: Loretta Marian Sanders Mundell.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev.
