Phyllis Lorraine Laird...73, resident of Anderson passed away November 19, 2019 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson. She was born in Jackson Michigan, June 25, 1946, the daughter of Brad and Gladys Stinson Wright.
She was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School (1964) and worked for over 25 years for Comcast as a systems designer in Indianapolis.
She had lived in the New Castle/Anderson area since 1960 and was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter: Brandi Laird and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors are her husband: Jr. Oliver of Anderson, son: Jon Laird, step children: John Oliver (Tabitha) and Lori Rednour (Scott) all from Middletown, step grandchildren: Joe Rednour and Maria (Todd) Hancock, grandchildren: Olivia and Aubrey Laird, 1 sister: Elizabeth (Glen) Abrams of New Castle, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend: Mary Flowers Pierce.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with burial in South Mound Cemetery, New Castle.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 PM
Memorials may be made to the Little Red Door of Madison County.
