Phillip Eugene Bedell

Daleville...Phillip Eugene Bedell, 51 a resident of Daleville, passed away on Friday April 26 at his residence.He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 4,1961 and was the son of Robert E. Bedell and Louise (Evans) Bedell. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, and received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music from Butler University and taught music in the Indianapolis Public School System for several years. He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 230 in Chesterfield, Indiana, and a member of the East Side Church of God in Anderson, and loved Mounds State Park.He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Mary (Dorsey) Bedell, three children Kirsten Bedell of Anderson, Cassie Bedell of Daleville, and Daniel Bedell of Daleville, Two sisters Becky Wing of Danville, Indiana and Marketta Nolin of King, North Carolina. Also surviving are 1 niece and 2 nephews.Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, IN. Funeral services will be Thursday at 6 P.M. at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary McManus officiating.
