Perry graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1977 where he excelled in basketball and cross country. After high school he worked different construction jobs, most recently at Baseline Communications in Fort Wayne, IN as Director of Operations.

Perry enjoyed working on and restoring cars, spending time with his family and loved his grandchildren very much. He was always such a fun Papaw who all the kids loved spending time and playing with. He also loved his dog Charlie, who he took everywhere with him before getting sick. Perry was always one to make everyone laugh and put others before himself and could fix just about anything.  He also had a very close bond with all of his coworkers at Baseline and cared about them tremendously.

The Family would like to think his Hospice nurse, Julie, and everyone from Southern Care Hospice. As well as all our family and friends who have been here for us during this difficult time. As Perry wished cremation has taken place and a private memorial is being planned at a later date.
