Shirley...Peggy Sue Rednour, 80, resident of Shirley, passed away May 1, 2018 at the home of her son in Middletown.
She was born in Mooreland, Indiana, March 25, 1938 the daughter of Robert and Ressie Elizabeth Clark Kirby. She was a 1956 graduate of Mooreland High School. She was active in the Red Hat Society "Rambling Roses" and loved to quilt and sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers: Dr. Ted Kirby, Rex Kirby and Dana Kirby.
Survivors are her five children: Brian (Jill) Rednour, Middletown, Monica (Allen) Mayer, Spring City, TN, Scott (Lori) Rednour of Middletown, Randall (Jennifer) Rednour, Cadiz, Lynelle (Fiance': Christopher Meyer) of Martinsville, sister: Mary Lou Koontz, New Castle, brother: Michael (Joyce) Kirby, sister in law: Genevieve Kirby of Greenfield, grandchildren: Kiely (James) Culberson, Kevin Rednour, Dr. Whitney Goldsberry, Maria and Joseph Rednour, Alexandra and Clint Rednour, Connor and Ryan Pender, great grandchildren: Penelope Rednour, Blake Midlam, Zach and Carley Culberson, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will take place on May 20 from 2-4 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Memorials may be made to the Relay for Life.
