Pearl Shelton

Daleville...Pearl Shelton, 67, resident of the Daleville area, passed away early Monday mroning at his residence after an extended illness.He was born in War Creek, Kentucky, December 26, 1938, the son of Robert and Nannie Johnson Shelton.He was a graduate of Brethitt County High School and retired in 2004 from Delco Remy in Anderson.He had lived in the Middletown/ Daleville area for over 40 years and was a member of the American Legion and attended the Mounds Baptist Church. He was also a member of the UAW Local 662.Survivors include one son: Alan (Jae) Shelton of Middletown, 2 daughters: Tammy (Jimmy) Gardiner of Cullman AL, and Maggie Shelton of Markleville, grandchildren: Jennifer Gardiner of Cullman, AL, Cody and Kristen Shelton of Middletown, 2 brothers: Sam and Charlie Shelton of Middletown, 2 sisters: Nellie Cundiff and Susie Lucas of War Creek, KY, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
