Wilson, 70, resident of Anderson, passed away January 22, 2008 at Community Hospital in Anderson.He was born in Anderson, September 18, 1937, the son of William and Elsie Bates Wilson.He worked for many years at Stoops Automotive in Anderson and Muncie.He was a veteran of the US Air Force.He was a member of the American Legion of Chesterfield and Daleville.Survivors include a daughter: Amy (Marc) Stoll of Vancouver, WA, 3 grandchildren: Brittainy, Ireland, and London Stoll of Vancouver, WA, 2 sisters: Carolyn Abney of Anderson and Ilene Burchette of Tennessee, 2 brothers: Sam Wilson of Anderson and William Wilson of Lafayette, special friends: Jack and Kitty and several nieces and nephews.Military funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville.Friends may call from noon until the time of the service.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
