Paul Lewis Waid

Paul Lewis Waid, 75, resident of Bethany Pointe Healthcare passed away July 25, 2022. He was born in Muncie, January 23, 1947 the son of Lowell and Anne McClung Waid. He married Patricia Givens and were married for 49 years.
He was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene and grew up in the Muncie High Street United Methodist Church. He attended the Chesterfield Freewill Baptist Church. He was involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship, Indiana Rural Youth, Boy Scouts, and was am NEI Camp Counselor and Camp Board member.
He was a 1965 graduate of Muncie Central High School and was a member of the Indiana National Guard. He worked at Westinghouse/ABB for 33 years and Keihn IPI in Greenfield for 13 years before retiring in 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia and sister Lois Bond.
Survivors include; three children, Janell (Donald) Williams of Anderson, Jalinda Waid and Josh Waid both of Middletown; grandchildren, Lydia, Jessica and Donald Williams all of Anderson; sister, Alice (David) Crouse of Muncie; 2 brothers, Dale Waid of Muncie and Lee Waid of Daleville; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North 5th, Middletown. A time of gathering will begin one hour before the service. Memorials may be made to the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.
