Paul William Marvell, Sr., 62, of Anderson passed away Thursday December 9, 2021. He was born on March 18, 1959 in Anderson, IN to the late Eldon J. Marvell and Velma (Michael) Turner.
Paul served his country in the United States Army National Guard and retired after 33 years of service. He worked for Westfield Washington Schools in the grounds and maintenance department. Paul's children and grandchildren were the greatest thing in his life and loved teaching his grandchildren how to fish. He enjoyed NASCAR, all things fast, mushroom hunting, traveling, outdoors, photography, stargazing and storm chasing. Paul was a friend to everyone and never knew a stranger.
He is survived by his children, Ashlynn Marvell, Adam (Sammie Massoels) Marvell and Paul William Marvell, Jr.; granddaughters, Liliann and Viviann Appleget; siblings, Aloma Sue (Floyd) Smith, Mike (Nancy) Marvell, Robert (Sheila) Marvell, Chester Turner and Jennifer (Kendel) Rinker; several nieces and nephews along with the mother of his children Leann Marvell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Hubert Marvell and James Marvell; step father, Chester W. Turner and best friend Mark Tomlinson.
Services will be Friday December 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home Daleville Chapel. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday December 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
