Middletown...Paul Edward Bowman, 57, resident of Middletown passed away December 6, 2007 at his residence after an extended illness.He was born in Anderson, January 16, 1950, the son of Franklin and Garland Allen Bowman.He retired from Borg Warner in Muncie in 2006 where he had been maintenance supervisor.He was retired from the Indiana National Guard and was owner of Bowman Excavating in Middletown.He had worked in the trucking business for many years and was on the Board of Directors of the Middletown Fall/Creek habit for Humanity. He had been actively involved with the building of four habitat homes.He had served as an EMT with the Middletown/Fall Creek Emergency Unit and served as chief in 1982.He is survived by a daughter: Anna Bowman of Cowan and a sister: Bonnie (Bob) Parsons of Anderson and many special friends.Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C. Rogers, of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene and EMS Chaplain officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, east of Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the Middletown EMS, Box 1, Middletown, IN 47356 or the Middletown Habitat for Humanity through the funeral home.Online Guestbook at:
