Patricia Lynn Waid

Middletown....Patricia Lynn (Givens) Waid, 71, resident of Middletown, passed away January 8, 2018. She was born in Indiana and was a 1965 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She received a degree from Ball State University in Home Economics and Family Consumer Science.She was actively involved in Children Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for over 20 years as well as ECI Emmaus Community, Indiana Rural Youth, Henry County Suburban Home EC Club and was very active and a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.she had worked for over 20 years at Unified Group Services.Survivors are her husband of 49 years: Paul Lewis Waid of Middletown, children: Janell (Donald) Williams, Jr of Anderson and Jalinda and Joshua Waid of Middletown, grandchildren: Lydia, Jessica and Donald Williams III of Anderson, adoptive family: Brad, Michelle, Brendon, Brett, Bryce, Brock and Mackenzie Burho, Greg (Carolyn) Givens, New Castle, Faith (Christopher) Hailey, Pendleton, Marcia (Vaughn) Pensyl, San Anglo, TX, Alvin (Nadine) Givens, Carmel, and Madonna (Randy) Herman, Indianapolis, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Margaret Givens.A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene , 698 North 5th, Middletown with Dr. Philip C.
