Daleville...Patricia ""Pat"" Lee Huffman,78, longtime resident of Daleville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday at her residence.She was born March 31, 1934 in Falls City, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Minnie Marie Harness Griffis.She was self employed and owner of Huffman Realty in Daleville since 1966.She was a member of the ABWA, American Legion Auxillary, Mid East Indiana Association of Realtors, Red Hats, and volunteered with many community festivals and organizations including the Cub Scouts as a Den Mother and the Boy Scouts.She attended the Daleville United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Robert E. Huffman, Sr. in 2011, 2 grandsons, 1 sister and 2 brothers.Survivors include her children: Robert ""Bob"" Huffman, Jr., of Daleville, Merriel ""Mick"" (Sheila) Huffman of Pendleton, Vada Sue Cockrill (Steve) of Daleville and Lee (Kim) Huffman of Suwanee, GA, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Butch Griffis (Eileen) of Daleville and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Entombment will follow at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-9 PM at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Scholarship Fund or the United Methodist Food Pantry through the funeral home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
