Patricia Joan Hilburt

New Castle....Patricia Joan (McGuire) Hilburt, 91, passed away November 21, 2017 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.She was born in Orlando, Florida, March 9, 1924, the daughter of James and Glyde Maine McGuire.She was a 1944 graduate of Anderson High School and a proud Indian basketball fan.She had worked at First National Bank, Anderson Banking Company, First United Methodist Church and was a member of the sanctuary choir for over 50 years. She also belonged to Delta Sigma social sorority.She is survived by a daughter: Joan Madewell of LaPlata, MD, sons: Joseph (Beverly) Hilburt of Sulphur Springs and Paul Hilburt of Chesterfield, grandchildren: Richie Madewell of South Korea, Kayla Hilburt of Chesterfield, Patrick (Tiffany) Hilburt of Chesterfield, Special sister: Suzette Melson of West Lafayette.She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Rosemary McGuire and sons: Mike and David Hilburt.Her family wishes to thank Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield and St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital for the wonderful care they provided.A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Bill Mathys officiating.Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandosns.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Patricia with family and friends.
