Patricia Ann Carter, 79 of Middletown passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Community Hospital of Anderson. She was born on January 29, 1946 in Madison County, a daughter to the late Lee and Beatrice Chambless.
Patricia was a graduate of Anderson High School. She like to go on cruises, loved palm trees, enjoyed vacations, shopping and playing euchre with her card club. Christmas was her favorite holiday. Patricia was involved in her local bible study group and was a part of the widowers club. She was always taking care of somebody and loved her family.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Dawnda (Ronnie Cox) Stoker, Rebecca Carter and Jenny (Mark) Carter; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Whaley, Phillip (Katie) Stoker, Tyler (Bailey) Byrd, Savannah (Michael) Carter, Zachary Carter, Maggie Carter, Abigail (Johnny) Carter, Christopher Alversen and Logan Carter; 14 great grandchildren, sister, Marilyn (Richard) Dunn; several nieces and nephews and special friends.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carter; son, Timothy Carter; grandchildren, Brandon and Robert Carter; brothers Kenneth Don Chambless and Ellis Chambless.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the funeral home.
