Daleville...Ora Cecil (Orr) Smith, 84, resident of Miller's Merry Manor of Middletown, died Tuesday morning at the nursing home after an extended illness.She was born October 19, 1919 in Hornbranch, Kentucky, the daughter of Aram and Ethel Hammond Gibson.She had been a homemaker and worked in several local businesses in the Daleville area.Survivors include 3 sons: Fred (Connie) Orr, Jr. of Middletown, John (Jackie) Orr of Middletown and Jim (Pam) Orr of Daleville, 1 brother: Homer Gibson of Elwood and 2 sisters: Pauline (Bob) Leathers of Chesterfield and Betty (Don) Eldridge of Anderson.She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Fred W. Orr in 1956, a brother: Hubert Gibson and 1 daughter: Ann Orr in 2000.Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St., Daleville with Rev.
