Odis J. Surber

Middletown...Odis Jay Surber, 47, resident of Middletown, passed away at the Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown after a brief illness.He was born in Bangor, Maine, August 22, 1957, the son of Odis E and Betty Jo McMaster Surber.He attended Shenandoah High School and worked for many years in local businesses.Survivors include 1 brother: William Hershal Surber of Pendleton, 2 sisters: Sharon Kay Coon of Anderson and Sandra Cloteal Payne of Middletown, several uncles and aunts including: Marsha Sloan of Muncie, Donna Applegate of Muncie, Tom Surber of New Castle, Mary Johnson of Muncie and Larry McMaster of Middletown.There will be no public visitation or services.Ballard and Sons funeral Home in Middltown is handling local arrangements.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
