Norman S. Watts

Chesterfield...Norman S. Watts, 80, former Chesterfield resident, died early this morning at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown.He was born in Connersville, Indiana, May 1, 1924 the son of Alva and Lula Selby Watts.He retired from Delco Remy in 1974 and attended Knightstown High School.He was a PFC in the US Army in WW 2 serving at Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe. He served in the 400th Armored Division, 747 Basic Engineers Equipment Division.He was a member of the VFW 266, the American Legion 408 and UAW Local 662.Survivors include several cousins and a special friend: Tracy Fairchild of Chesterfield.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street in Daleville, with Rev.
