Norman Lee Levell

Daleville...Norman Levell, 81, resident of Daleville, passed away Friday morning at St Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.He was born in Ripley County, Indiana, September 9, 1933, the son of Edcar and Eva Pettenger Levell.He was a self employed carpenter since the mid 1950's and owned and operated Norm Levell and Sons Construction for many years.He served as Town Board President and was on the first town board of the newly incorporated Town of Daleville. He was instrumental in the building of the new town hall and was a member of the West Side United Baptist Church in Muncie.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Mary (Dugger), brothers: Byron and Edward, sisters: Laurene, Roberta and Florence,a son: Dennis, and grandson: Nathan.Survivors are his wife: Corina (Watters-Hubble) of Daleville, children: Timothy (Mary Ann) of Daleville, Rebecca (Jay) Ryder of Anderson, Pam Schildmeier of Muncie, Theresa Riffey of Delphi, Tonya Norris of Celina, TN, and David Hubble (Mary: her excellent caregiver) of Daleville, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, brothers: Lester (Ruth ) Levell and Wendel Levell, 1 sister: Mary (Harry) Reed as well at the mother of four of his children: Dottie Shoaf.A celebration of Norm's life will be held at 3:00 pm Monday at Ballard & Sons, 8212 south Walnut Street, Daleville with Rev.
