Norma Alfrey, 63, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. She was born on December 4, 1959, in Anderson, to the late Bedford and Elsie (Shelton) Noble.
She was a graduate of Shenandoah High School class of 1978, where she was a Cheerleader. Her first love was a blue Chevrolet Nova she drove to school. Norma was a beautiful, fun-loving caring person, who loved to tell jokes, play music and sing karaoke. She spent much of her life working in the hospitality industry. She loved to cook. You could always find her in the kitchen making a huge breakfast feast or eating Mexican food.
Norma battled and fought cancer two separate times in her life. She was always a survivor!
She is survived by her daughter, Kylee Alfrey; grandchildren, Devon (Kaitlyn) Alfrey, Lily Abbott and Adisyn Ade; great grandson, Hudson Alfrey; brother, James Noble; sisters, Nannie Klecka, Wilma VanWinkle and Anna Keel (Noble); along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Alfrey; sisters, Hazel Heidemann and Pernia Pawlowski; brothers, Infant Bedford Noble and Charles Noble.
Funeral Services will be held at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown on Friday January 26th at 1:00 pm followed by a catered in lunch at the American Legion in Middletown. Norma’s ashes will later be placed alongside other family members at Millers Cemetery in the Spring.
