Nondus Jean Jones

Muncie...Nondus Jean (Smith) Jones, 85, resident of rural Muncie, passed away Monday at her residence.She was born in Marion, February 4, 1931, the daughter of Orville and Bertha Bricker Smith.She had been Vice President and Loan officer for Union State bank (First Merchants) in Sulphur Springs serving over 35 years.She was a member of Cornerstone Brethern Church, the Redhatters, several card clubs and the Women's Missionary Society.Survivors are her children: Lisa Pratt (Michael) of Middletown and Joni (Warren) Mudgett of Muncie, grandchildren: Nathan (Tammy), Elizabeth and Maria Pratt, Casey and Brian Lantry, great grandchildren: MacKenzie, Kameron and Kelsey Pratt and Waylon Cox.She was preceded in death by her husband John and her parents.A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at Cornerstone Brethren Church, 9601 South Cowan Road, Muncie with Pastor Luke Kelly officiating. burial will follow at Miller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call at the church from 11-3 on Friday.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Nondus with family and friends.Memorials may be made to the church.
