Daleville...Nellie Mae Hough, 81, resident of Daleville, died 12-17-2003 at Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.She was born May 13, 1922, in Timberville, Va., the daughter of James W. and Anna Neff Rinker.She attended Daleville and Yorktown Schools and was a member of the Daleville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Daleville Lioness Club, Women of the Moose 712 of Muncie and the No Name Euchre Club.She had been a homemaker and worked in the food service department of Ball State University for 22 years.She had lived in the Salem Township area most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband Verl in 1990.Survivors include 3 daughters: Nancy (Elzie) Smith of Greenwood, Donna (Rolland) Bookout of Yorktown, and Connie (Cecil) Baty of Summerville, South Carolina, 2 sons: Larry (Brenda) Hough of Carmel and Dale (Roxie) Hough of Anderson, 2 brothers: Alden Rinker of Muncie and her twin; Nelvin ""Bud"" (Mary) Rinker of Anderson, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Daleville United Methodist Church with Pastor Karen Ottjes officiating.Burial will follow at Sunderland Cemetery near Yorktown.Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville on Saturday from 6-9 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Daleville United Methodist Church or the Salem Township EMS through the funeral home.Online guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
