Sulphur Springs....Naomi Ruth Keesling (Myers), 81, resident of Sulphur Springs for over 63 years, died Tuesday evening at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson after an extended illness.She was born in Richmond, July 30, 1921, the daughter of Fred and Elsie D. McMinds Myers. She had been a homemaker most of her life. She lived in Ovid before moving to Sulphur Springs. She had been preceded in death by her husband Everett in 1975, 1 daughter: Lindy Keesling in 1995, as well as 1 sister: Louise Barkdull.Survivors include 2 daughters: Sandra (Tom) Dougherty of Anderson and Arlene Keesling of Anderson, 1 son: Robert Kent Keesling of Sulphur Springs, 3 sisters: Maxine Dray of Chesterfield, JoAnn Graham of Daleville, and Phyllis Burnett of Pendleton, 2 brothers: Donnie Myers of Markleville and Keith Myers of Indianapolis, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Also surviving is her special caregiver: Leah Stevens of Cadiz.Funeral services will be held on Friday August 9, 2002 at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Gerald Burnett officiating.A Dove Release Memorial Service will be held following the funeral at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association through the funeral home.On Line condolences may be made to the family at:
