Nancy Kay Swigeart

Nancy Kay Swigeart, 84 of Middletown, IN passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Community Hospital of Anderson. She born October 10, 1938 a daughter to the late Charles and Catherine Tranbarger.
She was a graduate of Anderson High School. After high school Nancy, became an LPN and retired from Saint John's Hospital in Anderson. She was also employed at Miller’s Merry Manor. After she retired, she worked at Specks Pet Supply. Nancy loved to be a stay-at-home grandma. She enjoyed gardening and working outside in her yard with flowers, as well as crocheting, doing arts and crafts, wood carving and she loved her cats.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Laura (Ernest) Jones; sons, Jeff (Terri) Swigeart and Brad Swigeart; grandchildren, Chad Jones, Candy Baty, Celliena Swigeart, Emily Swigeart and Zachary Swigeart; several great grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Shirley) Tranbarger; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Thomas Swigeart; sisters, Lois McIntyre and Norma Brannon.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Dennis Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.
